The Undergraduate Chapter of the National Art  Education Association's  at the University of North Texas is dedicated to involvement in the community. We strive to enrich the lives of children everywhere through art programs held at local schools, advocacy for the arts, as well as fundraising and donations to the community

Gallery Show

Gallery Show Every semester, NAEA calls for entries from the chapter members to display their works in a juried art show. This gives future art educators an opportunity to display their work. The display in the gallery is an outstanding example of the impressive visual works future art educators produce. The art show for the fall semester is to be held in the Lightwell Gallery the week of September 8-12th.

Advocacy

The officers and members of NAEA

strive to promote the club and the Art Education profession. We are working to create an environment for fellow art educators to have an open network of resources to help further their understanding of what is to be expected in the field, while having fun activities for member to have lasting connections.

Saturday

Series

The Saturday Series will have fun activities for kids from kindergarten to 12th grade. This is a great opportunity for service learning hours needed for required classes, as well as a chance to work with kids of different age ranges which is an enriching experience

Art Panel

NAEA invites citizens of the community in the Art Education profession to be part of a panel that engages the student body in a session focused on the components of their career. We attempt to have a wide range of participants; Museum Educators, Elementary and Secondary teachers, District Fine Arts Coordinators & UNT Professors are invited to participate in the Panel.
